SG-based point-of-sale startup eyes $1.5m raise

Singapore-based Waffle, a customer relationship management platform for F&B businesses, is looking to raise US$1.5 million in a seed funding round.

Waffle’s plans come after it breached hundred of locations across Singapore, the company wrote in Tech in Asia’fundraising startups list.

Founded in 2020, Waffle provides point-of-sale and integrated loyalty program solutions for local businesses. Additionally, it provides a dashboard for business owners to generate real-time data and customized reports.

The company said it currently has annual recurring revenue in the six-digits in US dollars. Waffle said its gross merchandise value stands at US$39 million.

Some of its clients include Kopifellas, Tea Tree Cafe, Mad Roaster, and Barcook Bakery.

The development also comes after Waffle took part in Iterative’s Summer 2022 cohort, the startup enabler’s fifth batch.
