Watch 42 Hong Kong tech entrepreneurs and investors talk about challenges (Video)
We hear a lot of buzz around startups and entrepreneurs in Hong Kong and in other parts of Asia. What we often don’t hear are the voices of the entrepreneurs themselves talking about the challenges and thrills they experience in their everyday work.
I wanted to solve that and I wanted to do it in a way that helped me learn along the way.
Here is a playlist of about 42 videos of my conversations with entrepreneurs and investors that took place in Hong Kong back in May during our Dreamcatchers event at The University of Hong Kong. These videos have covered some essential topics, many of which are super important to anyone starting. Beyond just whether the hot industries are mobile, cloud, or apps, the essential topics were basic drivers in innovating.
The key takeaway here is that you don’t need a lot of resources to start. You have to be comfortable with being made to feel uncomfortable. To truly disrupt is to not be harmful to an industry, but to help it. Perhaps most important of all, technology does something very valuable for the world – it increases connectivity. With increasing connectivity comes increasing idea generation. With increased idea generation, the ability to put those ideas into action, comes better chances for everyone, more wealth, and more technology. So you are always helping yourself when you are helping other people in startup land.
Here are the videos. Enjoy!
