Saleswhale, which provides support for sales and marketing teams through its proprietary AI technology, says it plans to use the fresh investment to expand its engineering, customer success, and sales & marketing teams. The company also plans to develop more features for its offering, including the integration of customer relationship management solution Salesforce and enterprise workflows.
The company, founded in 2015, claims it serves over 145 teams from mid-market and Fortune 500 companies such as Randstad, General Assembly, and Unit4. The company also says it generated roughly US$60 million in sales through its AI assistant in 2018 alone.
βWe believe that AI assistants will become ubiquitous in the near future for global enterprises, as C-suites recognize that automation is essential to scaling,β says Saleswhale CEO and co-founder Gabriel Lim.
