OGN player of the week 3: Roh "Arrow" Dong-Hyeon

Wow. Just wow. It is very hard for me to emphasize how amazing it is for a professional ADC to go on without dying for two straight games. Especially when one of his games happen to be on the most immobile marksman there is: Kog’Maw, who doesn’t have an escape mechanism in his skill kit. Arrow is truly making a name for himself when he performs like this. It seems to work like a radiating aura of confidence for his team as well, which makes KT Arrows look like a monster outfit. Trust me when I say this; it is extremely hard to have no flaws in a game like League of Legends. The amount of micro and macro management might not be as huge as in Starcraft, but it is still a hard game to master.

Game one was quite a sniping fest, as Arrow kept on turning picks created by Hachani into kills, one after another. His accuracy was unrivaled in this game, as he landed almost every crucial Living Artillery. The infamous Trinity Force Kog’Maw, which was presented during Season 3 World Championship by Genja, did an amazing job at catching up to enemies. This in turn worked extremely well with Hachani’s Morgana spot on bindings. It all ended with Arrow having a perfect KDA on the most immobile ADC in the game; if that doesn’t impress you, wait till you find out about his second game.

The second game was a bit slower in the beginning, but it quickly turned out to be a strategical outplay rather than a sheer show of force. Again, Genja’s Lucian build, which consists of Infinity Edge and a Stattik Shiv proved its dominance in Arrow’s hands. CJ Blaze players could not handle the pressure coming from KT Arrows. Every single mistake was punished with kills and objectives, most of them going to KT’s marksman, who ended the game with a score of 9/0/3.

What’s so impressive about this score? KT Arrows only got 13 kills, which means Arrow was a part of all but one of them. That’s a 92 percent kill participation on an AD carry with a KDA of 12 and no deaths on his account. This was truly a godlike performance, one that you can call flawless.
