Accel, Sequoia Capital India invest in marketing intelligence startup Slintel
Slintel, a software-as-a-service sales and marketing intelligence startup, announced that it has raised US$4.2 million in a funding round led by Accel, with participation from Sequoia Capital India and existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners.
This latest round of funding comes after the company raised US$1.5 million in a seed round last December from Stellaris Venture Partners and Powerhouse Ventures.

“The investment from this round will be used to strengthen the product and capture [more] market share aggressively,” said Slintel CEO and founder Deepak Anchala in a statement.
The California and Bengaluru-based startup claims to have grown over 800% in terms of its revenue in the last year. Despite disruptions caused by the pandemic, the company said it recorded its biggest quarterly earnings in Q3 2020.
Slintel, which was founded in 2016, helps its clients discover and connect with “high-intent buyers” in their markets. It does this by evaluating data points to find out prospective customers.
The platform is more important than ever before as companies look out for services that can improve struggling sales, Accel partner Prayank Swaroop said in a statement.
Currently, Slintel claims to have over a hundred clients across North America, South America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.
