Ex-Lazada Singapore deputy CEO joins fintech firm as COO
Lendela, a Singapore-based lending platform, has appointed Erik Ligtenberg as its chief operating officer.
Experience:
- Ligtenberg previously served as Lazada Singapore’s chief commercial officer and deputy CEO. His last position at Lazada Group was group head of general merchandise.
- Before that, he worked as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group in Amsterdam.
More details:
- Ligtenberg will oversee Lendela’s operations in Singapore and Hong Kong, and lead its expansion into more markets. Lendela’s founding team is from Sweden.
- Founded in 2018, the company can help users to apply for loans and relevant offers from lenders. It currently has more than 30 lenders and over 30,000 registered borrowers on its platform.
