500 Durians, the Southeast Asia fund of 500 Startups, is expanding its team. One of the most active seed investors in the region, 500 Durians has invested in more than 120 companies such as Grab (formerly Grabtaxi), Carousell, Bukalapak, HappyFresh, and KFit. In a recent Facebook post by managing partner Khailee Ng, he writes that the team’s mission is “to seed and support 1,000 more startups in Southeast Asia.” It is looking to fill several job openings.

Perks include the opportunity to travel to either San Francisco or an exotic location (where you can extend your stay to enjoy) twice a year. You can also wear your Spiderman suit, and work flexible hours anywhere with wifi connection. You should yearn for tough and challenging tasks, and are super cool with working around the clock. 1. The Band Manager

In some dark twisted Kanye fantasy I see my team as a rock band on a constant Southeast Asia tour. Except they can’t make music for shit. They do other things well though.

Trouble is, each are independent thinkers dictating their own schedule, traversing the region, while packing productivity into every waking moment… Hence, they need solid support to stay in sync.

Call it an office manager, but with personality. I call it a band manager. To tighten schedules, remove obstacles, and do the things that allow the band to focus all its time on making its greatest hits…

2. The Venture Producer

The startups in our portfolio always deserve more. Think VIP services, far reaching media projects to capture their stories, regional events with partners, and most importantly, new businesses units to launch. We won’t reveal exact details of the projects as yet but you know if we’re doing it – it’s gotta be something that’ll shake shit up.

Call it a Venture Producer, or a Launcher. You’re still launching entire new businesses that serve the growth of startups across the region. You’ll hire and assemble teams, secure partnerships, grow and manage up to million dollar P&Ls. You’ll be working directly with me to make this happen.

Pay: US$50k – US$70k / year
