Online pharmacy chain CareOnGo has secured an undisclosed amount of pre-series A funding from Farooq Oomerbhoy of FAO Ventures and a group of other investors. The group includes People Group’s Anupam Mittal and Anand Mittal; Ravi Garikipati, head of Flipkart’s ads business; Unicommerce co-founder Vibhu Garg, Singapore Angel Network, and Konglo Ventures.

Letsventure, which connects startups with angel investors and venture capital firms, played a part in connecting these parties.

Founded in September 2015 by Aditya Kandoi, Ritu Singh, and Yogesh Agarwal, CareOnGo received US$300,000 in seed funding two months ago. It is a mobile app that connects users with micro-pharmacies, allowing users to buy medicine from their approved neighborhood pharmacies.

The startup will pursue co-branding all of its pharmacies and expansion, particularly into analytics.
