International hosting company, Voxel is organising #cloudchat, an event happening this 6th May, to shed some light on the subject. While it’s true that cloud-based hosting is gaining significant ground in the U.S., adoption is relatively slow in most of Asia. According to William Fellows, from The 451 Group, 93% of spending on infrastructure as a service is done by the U.S., 6% by Europe and just 1% by Asia.
