Home healthcare continues to heat up in India as yet another acquisition occurs in the space. An inter-city taxi booking startup and a marketing analytics firm round out our list of funded startups in India today.

Wiwigo

One day after MyTaxiIndia raised bridge funding, Gurgaon-based Wiwigo, another online inter-city taxi booking startup has secured an investment: about US$600,000 from the Indian Angel Network (IAN), as well as two high-net-worth investors.

IAN investors Priyank Shankar Garg and led the round, while Priyank will join Wiwigo’s board as a growth mentor.

Founded by Sunil Cahula in 2015, Wiwigo is present in over 40 cities and offers roundtrip and multi-city options for inter-city travel. It plans to use the funding to expand to over 100 cities by the end of the year.

Hansa Cequity

Mumbai-based marketing analytics firm Hansa Cequity, has acquired a majority stake in D-Square Solutions, a data science and analytics company.

Founded in 2009 by Anand Srinivasan, Bangalore-based D-Square Solutions brings together business analytics products and consultancy solutions. Hansa Cequity’s plans to utilize the acquisition include strengthening its data science and improving its aviation business approach.

Hansa Cequity, founded by S. Swaminathan and Ajay Kelkar, claims to have over 80 million customer profiles and manage over 500 million one-to-one customer intelligence campaigns a year.
