Canvera, an online photography startup based in Bangalore, has raised US$3 million led by existing investor Info Edge (India). The fresh funding comes a year after it raised a down round – funding at a lower valuation than a previous round.
The funding still leaves Canvera below its peak valuation.
Founded by Dhiraj Kacker and Peeyush Rai in 2007, Canvera helps users find photographers for a number of occasions. People can search by location and photography specialty (travel, fashion, etc.).
