$10,000 up for grabs at Tech in Asia Tokyo 2015

Arena

Are you a startup in Asia looking to become the next unicorn? If so, you might want to consider signing up to pitch live at Arena at Tech in Asia Tokyo 2015 this September.

Arena, the most anticipated event of our Tech in Asia conferences, features 10 of the best seed-stage startups (hand-picked, no less!) from around the region pitching live in front of a 2,000 strong crowd consisting of international investors, corporates, and other aspiring startups.

The winner takes home US$10,000 and will have his/her startup’s legacy engraved on our Tech in Asia Tokyo 2015 Champion Trophy. But that’s not all. As a competing startup, you still walk away having put your company on the stage for potential investors and partners to see. Pitching startups will also get training sessions to hone your pitch and dazzle the crowd during your five minutes of stage time.

Last year, Taiwan-based startup EZTABLE, a mobile app for restaurant reservations, won the Arena competition at Tech in Asia Tokyo 2014. Four months later in January, EZTABLE raised a US$5 million funding round led by MediaTek, UMC, I-Mei and more.

Arena is back and open for applications, so seize this opportunity and submit your applications by August 4. We’re looking for hardware/software startups in the growth stage and have raised less than US$4 million of external funds, and with an innovative solution, proven traction and a strong team.
