Xpeng, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, plans to test its autonomous driving system, the Xpeng Navigation Guided Pilot (X NGP), in Hong Kong.

This initiative is part of the company’s strategy to expand globally and target right-hand drive markets, according to co-founder and CEO He Xiaopeng.

He confirmed that the trials would begin soon but did not provide an exact timeline.
