XPeng to launch self-developed chip in May
XPeng Motors, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, will launch a self-developed chip in its cars in May 2025.
The first vehicle featuring this chip, known internally as “F57,” is expected to debut by the end of May.
In August 2024, XPeng unveiled its self-developed chip named ‘Turing Chip’ for AI applications, boasting three times the computing power of rival products.
XPeng plans to equip all new models with the Turing Chip, reducing reliance on Nvidia and shifting towards in-house technology development.
