Meta aligns Facebook, Instagram with 'views' for creators

Facebook has shifted its primary metric for measuring content performance to “views” to align with metrics used by Instagram.

The shift applies to videos, photos, text posts, and other content types.

A view is counted each time content appears on a user’s screen. Multiple views by the same user are included.
