Google unveils experimental AI tool to enhance education

Google has launched Learn About, an experimental AI tool aimed at enhancing education.

Built on the LearnLM AI model, it offers interactive and visually engaging responses. The tool differs from current AI solutions like Gemini and ChatGPT.

During testing, Learn About and Google Gemini both accurately described the universe’s size as approximately 93 billion light-years in diameter.

It incorporates textbook-style elements for context, unlike Gemini, which used a more straightforward summary with a Wikipedia diagram.
