Booking Holdings’ Q4 profit rises on strong travel demand
Booking Holdings announced its fourth-quarter financial results, which exceeded expectations due to robust international travel demand, particularly in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
For the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2024, the company reported an adjusted profit of USS$41.55 per share.
This surpassed analysts’ estimate of US$36.03 per share, according to LSEG data.
Total revenue reached US$5.47 billion, marking a 14% increase from the previous year.
The company recorded gross bookings of US$37.2 billion, reflecting a 17% year-on-year growth.
Total room nights booked increased by 13%, amounting to 261 million.
