Australian AI medical scribe firm Heidi Health has raised US$16.6 million in a Series A follow-on funding round.
The investment was led by the US venture capital firm Headline, with participation from the UK’s Local Globe and existing investors including Blackbird and HESTA.
The announcement coincided with the company’s presentation at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in Las Vegas. This annual event attracts healthcare industry stakeholders to discuss advancements in the field.
Founded in 2019, Heidi Health offers AI tools that assist doctors in transcribing and summarizing patient consultations.
Its software processes over one million healthcare consultations weekly globally, operating without recording or storing audio from sessions.
