Apple has launched the public beta of iOS 18.2 with new Apple Intelligence features for select iPhones and iPads.

The final version is expected in December.

The update includes Image Playground, which lets users create illustrations from text prompts or photos.

Genmoji allows users to make custom emojis that can resemble people in their photo libraries. The visual intelligence tool provides information from images, functioning like Google Lens.

Another key feature is Siri’s integration with ChatGPT. Users can access OpenAI’s language model for some queries without an account.

The beta supports iPhone 15 Pro, Pro Max, iPhone 16 series, and recent iPads with A17 Pro or M1 processors or later.
