Amazon pilots 15-minute delivery service in India
Amazon has started a pilot program for its quick commerce service in India, targeting grocery and other items for delivery within 15 minutes.
The trial is currently underway in Bengaluru, marking Amazon’s entrance into the competitive quick commerce sector in the country.
India’s quick commerce market is valued at over US$6 billion annually and is primarily dominated by BlinkIt, Swiggy, and Zepto.
With Amazon joining this marketplace, it is the sixth major competitor alongside companies like Myntra, which also recently launched a similar service in Bengaluru.
