You may get a chance to play She Diao ZERO this summer

Chinese distributor Perfect World’s action MMO She Diao ZERO (射雕ZERO) is something we’ve been keeping an eye on for a while, and it even made our list of 9 Asian games to look forward to in 2014 earlier this year. But although the game has had several limited rounds of closed beta, most gamers haven’t had a chance to take it for a spin yet.

Thankfully, at least for China-based gamers, that’s set to change this summer. According to She Diao ZERO producer Teng He, the game will have its first “large scale” beta test during the summer vacation so that students can get in on the fun.

It sounds like the game still won’t quite be in open beta, but this round of testing will be much larger than previous rounds and interested gamers should have a much better chance of getting in.

The new round of testing will also come with a boatload of new material including a new playable class, male/female player creation options for each class, and new main story content.
