If you played the classic old school Super Mario games when you were younger, then Full Screen Mario will surely bring back some good memories.
Free to play on your Google Chrome browser, you control Mario using your keyboard. Both the arrow keys or WASD work fine. To jump, press keyboard up or W; to sprint or shoot fireballs, press shift. The game control doesn’t feel that smooth but it is good enough for a browser-based game.
Full Screen Mario allows you to choose and play all levels without the need to complete any first. If you are geeky enough, you can even create your own Mario level with its level editor.
According to the site:
Full Screen Mario is a fully HTML5 remake of the original Super Mario Brothers. You can play the original levels, play through some of literally millions of possible random maps, or create your own using the level editor. This whole project is open source and free – if you would like to use the code, check out the Github.
Have fun and let us know if you like Full Screen Mario in comments.
