We raved about Gree’s up-and-coming mobile hit Cross Summoner on Thursday, and many of you wanted to know more about it. Understandably, that single cover image was not enough, so here’s a nice, beefy gameplay video to go with it!

As you can see from the preview, the game is playable even on the smaller iPhone despite its wealth of features. While we couldn’t understand the story, the gameplay was entertaining and led to some pretty long play-sessions from some of the Tokyo Game Show visitors.
What’s really most appealing about Cross Summoner is its epic anime-style 2D battles, which are a nostalgic throwback to the dramatic JRPGs we all used to indulge in.
