Evangelion meets Puzzle and Dragons in what looks to be the game’s biggest collab yet

Puzzle and Dragons has had loads of collaboration events over the past couple of years. Angry Birds, Clash of Clans, Batman, and even Hello Kitty have all had their characters used in the hit puzzle RPG game. But this next event though looks to be bigger than them all. That is if you are an anime fan.

Characters from the anime movie series Rebuild Evangelion, the reboot of the original Neon Genesis series, will be featured in Puzzle and Dragons’ next event. The event has been going on in Japan for sometime now but it will soon be making its way across the globe.

This continuation of the Rebuild Evangelion collab will have the anime’s characters  matched up with their Eva and of course have an element-based attack. This time around we will see Shinji, Rei, Asuka, and even an EVA-01 egg machine.

This crossover may have started in Japan almost a year ago, but as of February 24 the event will add the new characters and dragon egg machine. If you don’t live in Japan, just hold tight. The event will make its way to your country sometime in March.

Update: This article has been updated to inform you that the Rebuild Evangelion has been going on in Japan for some time now and will get new characters starting February 24.
