Singapore industrial IoT startup nets $2.9m funding from Tin Men Capital
Overdrive, based in Singapore, has raised US$2.9 million in a series A round with Tin Men Capital.
The industrial internet of things startup automates data sensing of assets within a business ecosystem. Since its inception in 2015, it has been involved in various implementations for clients, including Sentosa, Nanyang Technological University, and the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore, as well as Volkswagen and Mazda in Malaysia.
Overdrive will use the funds to upgrade its platform and research and design efforts. Over the next 18 months, it will pursue a deeper focus into asset tracking for the supply chain, construction, and facilities management sectors.
