Winter to coach Team Alliance for ESL One Frankfurt 2014 and The International 2014

Last year’s The International champion team has found itself a coach. Earlier today, Litt-binn “Winter” Chan announced on his Facebook page that he will be joining Team Alliance in ESL One Frankfurt 2014 and even The International 2014 (TI4) as their coach. Although still one of the formidable teams from the West, Alliance doesn’t seem to be as strong as it used to be. The team has even tried switching drafters from Gustav “s4” Magnusson to Jonathan “Loda” Berg and back, but still didn’t get the team back to its former shape. Alliance joined the recently concluded WPC-ACE 2014 and was able to bag fourth place with coaching from Winter.

Coaches aren’t really unheard of in Dota 2 eSports. In fact, legendary coach Wen Yi “71” Tang plays an important role in training one of China’s strongest teams Team DK and the former legendary team Ehome. It’s unclear if Winter has the same influence as 71 over Alliance’s training.
