In this workshop, Project Nimbus and AppVenture will teach aspiring Windows Phone 7 developers how they could get on with rapid application development using the free Windows Phone Developer Tools, Emulator, access the phone APIs such as Location, Push Notification, Camera, among others. The workshop will also touch on how you could create animations and design your application using the free Expression Blend for Phone.
Pointers will also be given on how to get your app published to App Hub (formerly Marketplace) by adhering to the policies.
If you’re not the coding type, we have the Project Nimbus App Generator to get you started.
They would also love to hear about the apps/games you’re building. If you have a prototype to share with the audience and everyone loves it, you might just get a chance to bring home a Windows Phone 7 to help you complete your application.
