The South East Asia Major (SEA Major) will host its first ever Hearthstone tournament, the Competitive Asia Series: Hearthstone, this year on Saturday, 21 June, 2014, at Alienware Arena.
Organised by Hearthstone Alley and streamed by Epic Gaming Television, the Competitive Asia Series will use a 3v3 offline double-elimination format. It’s no local walk in the park, though; players from other countries are expected to grace the event.

Players will have to pay a $10 registration fee to participate, and can stand to win cash prizes from the pot based on the number of tournament participants, as well as Tritton headsets and Hearthstone booster packs.
The rules of the tournament are unique, and more akin to a chess competition than a Hearthstone tournament. Participating teams will have to choose a captain, vice-captain and vanguard for each round before facing off against their counterparts.
