A recent post on the Dota 2 subreddit talked about how all-female tournaments shouldn’t even exist in eSports mainly because males don’t have a physical advantage over females unlike in regular sports. I do agree about the absence of physical advantage, but this isn’t really the reason why female tournaments are important. It’s a good way to introduce females to the world of competitive Dota 2 with less fear of the stereotypes that goes with being a female gamer.
