Female gamers are getting more attention with the Mineski Pro-Gaming League (MPGL) adding a female division to the third leg of its MPGL Assault Fire tournament on May 4.
The MPGL male division has registrations open for four different Mineski Infinity branches: Morayta, Dasmariñas, Cebu, and Cagayan De Oro. The female division will only have one event location—Mineski Infinity Dasmariñas.
The prize distribution will be as follows:
Male division
- Champion – PhP 5,000 ($112.04), 25 league points
- 2nd place – PhP 3,000 ($67.23), 18 league points
- 3rd place – PhP 2,000 ($44.82), 15 league points
Female division
- Champion – PhP 2,000 ($44.82)
- 2nd place – PhP 500 ($11.20)
Both divisions will use the Factory 13, Rail Station, and Prison maps and follow the same format of group stages leading to single elimination playoffs. Registration for both divisions are free, but participants of the male division will have to pay for PC rental. All participants will also receive free MPGL baller bands.
