Looks like there’s going to be a lot of MOBA action going on in the Philippines this Sunday, April 27, as Wargods Arena Gaming Cafe hosts not one, not two, but three MOBA tournaments— Dota 2 Wargods Cup, League of Legends (LoL) Garena Challenger Tournament, and the Heroes Circuit Heroes of Newerth (HoN) Tournament.
League of Legends Garena challenger tournament
Sponsored by CM Storm, the League of Legends Garena challenger tournament is open to teams with players of any rank, but will have limited slots of 64 teams. There will be a total prize pool of PhP 20,000 ($449.24), which will be distributed as follows:
- 1st place – PhP 10,000 ($224.62)
- 2nd place – PhP 4,000 ($89.85)
- 3rd to 4th place – PhP 2,000 ($44.92)
- 5th to 8th place – PhP 500 ($11.23)
The top four teams will also receive five CM Storm ballers. Interested teams may register at Wargods Morayta on the same day of the tournament. More registration and tournament details can be found here.
Heroes Circuit Heroes of Newerth Tournament
The Heroes Circuit HoN tournament will have 32 competing teams who will all receive free ballers upon registration. Also sponsored by CM Storm, the tournament will have a total prize pool of PhP 16,000 ($359.39), which will be distributed as follows:
- 1st place – PhP 7,000 ($157.23)
- 2nd place – PhP 3,000 ($67.39)
- 3rd to 4th place – PhP 2,000 ($44.92)
- 5th to 8th place – PhP 500 ($11.23)
The top four teams will also receive five HoN t-shirts . Interested teams may register at Wargods Shaw on the same day of the tournament. More registration and tournament details can be found here.
