Voting for Spirit of Enterprise 2011 opens

The nominees for Spirit of Enterprise 2011 has been revealed. One of them is Jackie Lee, CEO of clickTRUE and the founder of Hardware Zone, which has been acquired by Singapore Press Holdings. Voting, which is done through the website, started on August 1 and ends on August 31.

The award winners will be revealed in November 2011. Most of the nominees are SMEs with healthy profit margins that have been running for at least five years. The award was first held in 2003.

The Spirit of Enterprise is a non-profit organisation created to promote entrepreneurship among Singaporeans — particularly youths. They have published several books on entrepreneurship, and organized many programs where students get to interact with seasoned entrepreneurs.
