TDCX eyes revenue growth of up to 21% in 2022

Layoffs may be sweeping through tech companies around the world, but itโ€™s not all doom and gloom for the industry. TDCX, the NYSE-listed business process outsourcing company (BPO) headquartered in Singapore, expects to see its revenue for 2022 grow by 18% to 21% year on year.

As firms downsize or recalibrate their priorities in a challenging macroeconomic environment, their desire for more flexible, less risky expansion strategies grows. Accordingly, TDCX continues to see demand from its high-growth tech clients from the โ€œnew economy,โ€ which include Meta and Airbnb.

In my latest premium story, I take a deeper look at TDCX, whose clients in Southeast Asia include a โ€œleadingโ€ global short-video app, an ecommerce player, a top airline, a gaming company behind key titles, and one of the largest integrated car ecommerce platforms in the region.

TDCX may have lost US$2.2 billion in its market capitalization since October 2021, but that hasnโ€™t stopped 2022 from being an โ€œexceptional year,โ€ its CEO says.
