ABOUT
Founded in 2013, Sonder provides a short-term apartment rental platform that offers studios, lofts, hotel rooms, and apartments.
At the outset of the Covid-19 pandemic, the US-based company implemented some strategies. They include shifting from focusing on seven-night stays to targeting stays that are more than 14 days long, as well as serving those affected by the crisis such as critical care personnel and students in need of housing.
Sonder was valued at US$1.3 billion after the company raised US$170 million in a series E funding round led by Fidelity, Westcap, and Inovia Capital in June last year.
It used this deck to obtain its series D funding.
