India-based B2B startup ReshaMandi says it’s a “superapp” for everything silk by digitizing the industry’s supply chain, which includes farmers, reelers, weavers, and retailers.

Founded in May 2020, the platform also has features powered by AI and internet of things for disease detection, cocoon grading, and advisory services.

• March 2021: US$1.7 million of seed funding from a round led by Omnivore and Strive Ventures, with participation from Axilor Ventures, an India-based fund for early-stage startups, and Supply Chain Labs, a supply chain accelerator program by Lumis Partners
• October 2021: US$30 million of series A funding from a round led by Creation Investments, with participation from 9Unicorns, Venture Catalysts, Omnivore, Northern Arc, Alteria Capital, Innoven Capital, and Stride Ventures, as well as from Sandeep Singhal, co-founder and senior advisor of Nexus, and Brijesh Agarwal, founder of IndiaMart
