Using this pitch deck in 2007, San Francisco-based startup Mint was able to raise US$4.7 million in series A funding.
Mint brings together your total financial life – bank accounts, bills, free credit score, credit cards, and investments – in one place. Its platform also offers personalized advice to help users save and make the most of their money.
Following several other funding rounds, American financial software firm Intuit acquired Mint in 2009 for US$170 million. Mint had over 1 million users at the time, and has since grown to log over 20 million registered accounts by 2016.

- 2006: US$750,000 Seed from First Round Capital, Felicis Ventures, and Ron Conway
- 2007: US$4.7m Series A led by Shasta Ventures with participation from First Round Capital, Intuit, Google, Yahoo, Charles Schwab, Wilson Sonsini, Reuters, Adteractive, Weblogic/BEA, and angels including Google investor Ram Shriram and executives from eBay
- 2008: US$12m Series B led by Benchmark Capital
- 2009: US$14m Series C led by DAG Ventures with participation from The Founder’s Fund, Benchmark Capital, Shasta Ventures, First Round Capital, and Sherpalo
