A list of grants and freebies for Singapore startups
Charts and visuals, only for subscribers
Launching a startup is always tough, especially in today’s shaky economy. Every cent counts in the early days.
That’s why we created this list for founders in Singapore, where government agencies and universities offer a range of grants to help with early-stage funding.
Some target specific industries, but most are sector-agnostic. If you are developing disruptive technology, you could access up to millions of dollars.
You can also check out freebies from big tech companies for startups. These programs are open to applicants from any country, and they offer free credits for cloud services as well as tools such as analytics or customer management platforms.
That said, there’s no such thing as a free lunch. Joining these programs may lock your company into specific providers later on, and some of them are selective in who they accept.
Still, for early-stage startups, cutting costs may be the top priority.
