ABOUT
Founded in 2011 and formerly known as Hampton Creek, the US-based Eat Just develops plant-based alternatives to conventionally-produced egg products.
In December last year, the company got the approval to sell its cultured or lab-grown chicken meat in Singapore as an ingredient in chicken bites, following a rigorous consultation and review process.
The US-based firm is also expanding in the Chinese market. Earlier this month, the company said it will supply its plant-based egg product to China’s fast-food chain Dicos, which has more than 500 outlets across China.
The firm used this deck to secure US$23 million in a series B round led by Horizon Ventures.

How is the deck compelling?
- The deck is simply designed with more visuals than words.
- They start describing how their business was born by showing the common idea between Eat Just’s business and Amazon’s.
- Then it’s followed by the background of how eggs are obtained and stated their mission in bringing healthier and more affordable food to everyone, everywhere.
- They provide videos that present Eat Just’s business.
- The deck shows the future market opportunity, together with the five demand-driving factors that they’ve found.
- It also provide more data proofs before concluding the presentation with more videos.
