Liven Technology raises funding from VinVentures
VIETNAM- 7 JUL 2025 – The capital from VinVentures’ seed round will be used by LIVEN to scale operations, enhance technological capabilities, and expand its domestic market presence. The company is also planning regional expansion, with a focus on the destination wedding segment – a rapidly growing trend among urban millennials throughout Southeast Asia.
LIVEN Technology was founded in 2022 by Ms. Ann Nguyen, an experienced professional in technology and event management. Since then, it has rapidly built a robust digital ecosystem dedicated for the wedding industry. This includes Your Wedding Planner – an intelligent planning platform, VDES.vn – an e-commerce marketplace connecting venues and service providers, and Marry.vn – the leading wedding media platform in Vietnam. LIVEN also provides a range of technology solutions that effectively support both individual users and businesses operating in the event and wedding sector.
A standout feature of LIVEN is its Online-to-Offline (O2O) model, which seamlessly integrates digital user experiences with real-world wedding services. Through this model, couples can easily plan their weddings, discover suppliers, select from a curated list of vendors, and receive help throughout their wedding journey including post-event services and community engagement. Even during the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, LIVEN maintained resilient growth, showcasing the strength of its business model and the increasing demand for digitalization in the industry.
Commenting on the deal, Ms. Ann Nguyen, Founder and CEO of LIVEN, shared: “VinVentures’ investment is a strong affirmation of the growth potential of the digital wedding sector, and a recognition of LIVEN’s pioneering role in redefining the wedding experience across Southeast Asia.”

From 2022 to 2024, there were more than one million interactions with banners on LIVEN’s ecosystem, with nearly 100,000 service engagements and 49,000 users actively planning their weddings through Marry.vn, VDES.vn, Your Wedding Planner.
Notably, last year the Wedding Fair Online – a virtual wedding expo organized by LIVEN – took place in only three months, yet accounted for 50% of the year’s overall traffic; showcasing the model’s strong appeal and sustainable growth potential in tech-enabled wedding services.
Alongside the funding announcement, LIVEN also confirmed a strategic partnership with multi-platform media group Yeah1 to co-organize Vietnam Wedding Week 2025. With the theme “All-in-One Weddings – Modern – Multi-Platform”, the event will is expected to take place in the third quarter of this year gathering thousands of couples, hundreds of mid to high-end fashion brands for wedding and lifestyle industry suppliers. It is set to be the largest and most comprehensive wedding event ever held in Vietnam, promoting a modern, tech-integrated wedding model to the next generation of consumers.
Through this investment in LIVEN, VinVentures reaffirms its role as a strategic launchpad for Vietnamese tech startups, committed to early discovery, long-term support, and advancing the innovation ecosystem. The fund aims to elevate high-potential Vietnamese startups to a regional level and set new benchmarks in the market.
