1. Coins.ph | Philippines (Startup Profile)

Coins.ph is an online payments startup that has created an alternative banking system to serve people who don’t have access to traditional banking in Southeast Asia and other developing markets. It uses the blockchain to enable financial services like money remittances, bill payments, and mobile credit top-up.

2. SimpleOrder | Israel (Startup Profile)

Tel Aviv-based SimpleOrder is a supply chain management startup for commercial kitchens. Its product, Automated Inventory System is a SaaS platform that helps restaurants manage inventory levels in real-time and this helps small and medium sized restaurants reduce waste and gain control over spiraling food costs.

3. Kredx | India (Startup Profile)

Founded last year, Kredx operates as a marketplace connecting businesses and financiers. It helps micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) maintain their cash flow by unlocking the cash tied up in invoices that otherwise takes an average of 30 to 90 days to be cleared. On the other hand, it offers financiers access to risk mitigated, high yield, and short-term investment opportunities that are not tied to the uncertainties of the stock market.

4. Lithium Urban Technologies | India (Startup Profile)

Launched in 2015 with 40 electric cars, Lithium Urban Technologies was billed as India’s first 100 percent electric solution for corporate transport. The startup now has a 200-strong fleet of Mahindra E2O hatchbacks, is set to induct more electric car varieties, and is eyeing newer cities. It has customized plans for different clients, depending on the number of cars deployed.

5. Bluestone | India (Startup Profile)

India online jewellery store BlueStone just upped the gold-buying frenzy a couple of notches with its gold coin-dispensing vending machines. According to the startup, vending machines are equipped to dispense certified 24 karat gold coins in denominations of one, two, five, ten, and twenty grams in Bangalore and Delhi.

6. One More Closet | China

Shanghai-based One More Closet lets users lend and rent out formal attire. It formalizes the offline clothing exchanges and enables anyone to monetize the high-end formal wear in their closet. Similar to Airbnb, users can write reviews for one another. For each order, the startup takes a 10 percent commission.
