At SFF 2025, FinFan signed partnership MoUs with leading global players
Singapore, 5 December 2025 — FinFan has become the first Vietnamese fintech to sign 20 global Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) at the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF), marking a breakthrough moment for Vietnam’s financial technology sector. The achievement positions FinFan as a preferred partner for global money transfer operators, remittance brands, digital wallets, banks, and Web3 businesses expanding into Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
The agreements were signed with leading players including Thunes, NeutronPay, DT One, Coins.ph, Veem, TransFi, Netbank, Flutterwave, GME Remittance, Transact Bridge, Rishabh Software, Tazapay, iSend, Nilos, Giesecke+Devrient, and others across cross-border remittances, blockchain connectivity, digital value services, and financial connectivity solutions.
A New Era for Vietnam in Global Money Movement
The MoUs expand Vietnam’s financial reach by opening new payout corridors, adding liquidity partners, enabling real-time FX routing, and strengthening compliance and API infrastructure. FinFan’s unified API integrates bank, wallet, card, cash, and Web3-enabled rails, enabling global platforms to access Vietnam through a single connection.
“Our mission is to build more than partnerships – we are building a connected, compliant, and future-ready cross-border money movement infrastructure for Vietnam and beyond,” said Dr. Nguyen Tuyen, Founder & CEO of FinFan.
NeutronPay, which specializes in high-speed blockchain infrastructures like Lightning Network payments, emphasized the strategic value of the partnership: “FinFan has become a key partner for enabling real-world digital finance utilities in Southeast Asia,” said Albert Buu, CEO of NeutronPay. “We are exploring an exclusive blockchain-powered payout rollout with FinFan for Vietnam.”
Industry observers note that the shift from traditional remittances toward digital-value transfers, real-time liquidity management, and real-time cross-border money movement positions Vietnam as an emerging digital finance hub in the region. And he added, A Platform Strategy for Vietnam as FinFan operates an infrastructure model that blends the strengths of Revolut (multi-currency infrastructure), Airwallex (API-first connectivity), and BVNK (next-gen financial rails). This hybrid model has made FinFan a compelling partner for global fintechs seeking Southeast Asia expansion without building local infrastructure from scratch.
A Growing Strategic Interest in Vietnam
With more than US$120B in annual cross-border flows (remittances, e-commerce, SaaS, travel, creator payouts), Vietnam is drawing heightened interest from global fintech firms. Five structural trends are driving this momentum:
- Large, Digitally Active Market: Population of 100M+, over 70% under 40, 75%+ digital adoption, and 78M+ internet users, making Vietnam one of SEA’s fastest-growing digital economies.
- Unified Cross-Border Rail Demand: Rising need for seamless connectivity across fiat rails, e-wallets, cards, and digital finance channels, enabling real-time, low-cost money movement.
- Gateway for Global Vietnamese Communities: With 5.3M overseas Vietnamese, diaspora flows drive significant inbound volume — fueling demand for unified, compliant payout rails.
- Regional Expansion Hub: Corridors naturally link Vietnam to Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Unified multi-rail infrastructure allows partners to scale regionally through Vietnam.
- Regulatory Momentum: The upcoming Vietnam National FinTech Sandbox is accelerating regulated innovation across remittances, financial technologies, blockchain applications, and cross-border settlement.
Elevating Vietnam’s Role in Regional Finance
Vietnam is accelerating its ambition to develop Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang into future International Financial Centers (IFCs). FinFan’s expanding partnership network provides the foundation for deeper interoperability through:
- Web3-ready financial connectivity rails.
- Lower-cost SME IBAN and payout solutions.
- Digitized remittances and diaspora services.
- Embedded finance capabilities across industries.
FinFan’s existing partner ecosystem — including Visa, Ripple, Circle, MoneyGram, Thunes and dozens of global players — reflects rising confidence in Vietnam’s cross-border fintech potential.
National Strategy and Industry Response
FinFan says it is participating closely in Vietnam’s developing fintech sandbox, which focuses on remittances, financial innovation, and transaction security. Analysts describe FinFan’s partner list as a “signal moment” for Vietnam’s fintech maturity.
“Global players are increasingly viewing Vietnam as a future financial connectivity hub for Southeast Asia,” said one payment analyst. “For investors, FinFan is no longer a consumer-facing remittance operator — it is infrastructure. Banks, fintechs, and digital platforms can now use FinFan’s global rails instead of building their own.”; And Partners also highlighted FinFan’s compliance-first approach, combining traditional finance with blockchain-based models, and a clear roadmap from remittance -> embedded finance -> Cross-Border NeoBank 3.0.
