Airbnb’s managing director for Asia Pacific, Parin Mehta, has announced he will leave the platform come September.

In a LinkedIn post, the exec said he will be graduating from the company after six years of service.
Moving forward, he will be involved in “a combination of venture-building, investing, coaching, and blockchain,” activities he has been interested in for several years.
Mehta joined Airbnb in 2016 as the director of host and community operations for the Asia Pacific. A year later, he took on the role of regional director of Airbnb Experiences, which allows users to go on activities hosted by locals. He was then promoted to regional managing director in 2021.
Before starting at Airbnb, Mehta was with Google as its general manager for strategic partnerships in Southeast Asia.
