KKR leads Vietnamese enterprise software firm’s $45m round

Vietnam’s KiotViet, which provides software solutions for businesses, said it raised US$45 million in its latest round of funding.

  • KiotViet said it currently provides its suite of software solutions, including its point-of-sale, inventory management, and employee management tools, to over 110,000 small and medium businesses in Vietnam.

  • KKR’s participation in the round marks its latest tech bet, coming after its injections into Indian eyewear retailer Lenskart and Japanese QR code payment gateway provider NetStars.
  • KiotViet previously raised US$6 million in its 2019 series A round, which included participation from Jungle Ventures and online travel company Traveloka.
