In brief: India video analytics startup nets $2.2m from Alibaba, Times Internet
Vidooly, an India-based video analytics firm, has raised US$2.2 million in a funding round led by Alibaba. Existing investor Times Internet also participated.
The startup received US$1.4 million from Times Internet and GVFL Limited in May 2017, which was used to expand its business in India and to other markets like the US, Europe, and Asia.
Vidooly claims that its platform supports over 50,000 content creators, with more than 500 million cross-platform audiences tracked.
