Startups play a key in South Korea’s innovation scene, with support from both the government and private sector.

However, most businesses entering the country only want to work with the industry’s big names. Coupled with language barriers and cultural differences, tapping into this market is difficult for most, says Sangsoo Kim, director of Rigel Capital.
