As a city in the second-largest economy in the world and home to a world-class industrial park with a total output value of US$71.6 billion in 2020, Suzhou is shaping up to be an attractive expansion destination for firms in emerging tech industries.

Goh Kian Seng, deputy head (Singapore) at China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group, shares more details.

Set up in February 2021 and located at Singapore’s One-North district, the Suzhou Industrial Park International Business Cooperation Centre (IBCC) helps companies venture into China through the Suzhou Industrial Park, a tech ecosystem for industries such as biomedicine, nanotechnology, and AI.

Through tech support grants, joint innovation calls, and a network of resources, IBCC provides a dual-way platform that offers access to the Singapore-China market and facilitates cross-border investment.
