Musk plans on taking Twitter private but isn’t concerned about its financial outlook

How did Elon Musk go from being the CEO of electric-car maker Tesla to the new owner of Twitter? It all started when the billionaire  posted a Twitter poll asking his 80 million followers if the microblogging platform adheres to free speech, and 70% of them said no. Next thing the world knew, he was offering to buy Twitter for US$44 billion.

In this video, we highlight Musk’s intentions for his latest acquisition and what it truly means for Twitter to be a platform for free speech.  It seems that he gave a hint via this tweet β€œI hope that even my worst critics remain on Twitter, because that is what free speech means.”
