“Imagine in the future, maybe this building that we’re in is not just an office building, it could be a building where we also have vertical farming,” says Accenture Singapore country managing director Ng Wee Wei when asked what a future city might look like.

Furthermore, she believes that it’s inevitable that humans will need to figure out how to work with machines in their daily work life, as much of the mundane and repetitive work will be taken over by machines, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

“To me, at least in a white-collar setting, that means we need to be able to do the higher-order stuff,” Ng notes.
