The human heart is an intricate organ, and for medical students, learning more about it can be one bloody affair – literally.
That’s where Stanford hopes to help. It has created a highly detailed model of a beating heart for its medical trainees to learn about the heart’s inner workings, while understanding complex congenital heart defects.
