The platform poured US$55,000 of pre-seed funding into each of the selected startups, an EF spokesperson told Tech in Asia. This expands EF’s portfolio in the country to 34 tech startups since its launch in India in 2019.
The startups will use the pre-seed funding to build their products, grow their teams, and deploy their services to early customers.
With a presence in six global markets, EF has built over 300 tech startups with a worldwide community of over 3,000 entrepreneurs. Its portfolio companies are currently valued at over US$4 billion in total.
These are the six Indian startups that have been selected by EF for its fifth Investor Reveal Day:
- Zevi, a search engine with natural language processing at its core, along with vernacular support that improves conversion and engagement for brands online
- D-Nome, a healthtech startup working on molecular solutions for simple and affordable genomics-based diagnostics
- Beatoven, an AI-powered music generation tool for video and podcast content creators
- Omniflo, a data-driven digital platform to enable fast and efficient offline retail distribution for online-first and direct-to-consumer brands
- Flippy, a financial platform that simplifies crypto investments through a more streamlined and social process
- Zolnoi, an end-to-end maintenance management platform that helps manufacturing companies reduce downtime and improve productivity
